Christmas Morning at Our House

I wasn't feeling the best during Christmas, so I took it easy. I still had fun though.

Jill looking stylish as usual.

Here are my new exotic pj's and Jeff's pretty blue pajama pants. He's looking a little rugged because he just got in on Christmas Eve from work.

Jeff working busily on the house. He's so handsome!

Is that a look of trouble or what? I think Jeff put her up there, she's not too happy about it.

Sassy, fun times.

I'm putting red sprinkles on the roof. It turned out pretty nicely. Madison was a good helper.

My little girl is...growing a stache?

This is what happens when Bailee eats Lindor truffles. I think she looks like a cute little Frenchman with a moustache and goatee. She and I are both fans of those chocolates.

Thanksgiving Thursday & Black Friday

For Thanksgiving we went to Jeff's parents house. Here are some of us at the table getting ready to dig in. I was thrilled to be able to eat Thanksgiving dinner this year, last year I was home throwing up while Jeff and the girls went to my parents.

Here are the kiddos at the children's table. Cute kids!

Here we are at my parents house, the day after Thanksgiving aka Black Friday. Doesn't Madison look pretty with the makeup she put on all by herself. She likes to get into my mom's makeup.

Here we are Black Friday morning in the University Mall parking lot waiting for Santa to fly in on the channel 5 news helicopter. Jeff was quite excited because he spoke to Kevin Eubanks (the weather guy) and Kevin touched his arm. Try not to be jealous. The weather was really nice, we had lots of fun.

Bailee is overjoyed to see Santa, can you tell?

Madison was so proud of her pumpkin she helped carve.

Fun times at Pumpkin Land!

Hey Cuties!

We were only stuck in the corn maze for 2 hours, not too bad. No, not really, but we did have one family member who was getting grouchy from not being able to find our way out.

Guess who???????Jeff

The family that wears wigs together, stays together.

Whenever I need a good laugh I just put a wig on Jeffie. If he ever finds out I posted this pic on here, I'll be getting a spanking for sure.

Family, Fire, & Fun!

Since the weather was quite cool this past Saturday morning and Jeff was home, I decided we should light up our fire pit and cook some food. We had a good time, I'm so glad I thought of it. :)

I was having some serious marshmallow issues. I got messier than the kids.
Hot Stuff, roasting a hot dog.

Bailee doing her thing.

Just us girls!

We only had chocolate graham crackers, I think they made the S'mores even better.

Trouble for Tooth Fairy Carrie

A couple of days ago Madison showed me how loose her tooth was. I told her to keep wiggling it and it would be ready to come out soon. I was thinking it would be a few days, but no, that night in bed she twisted it and pulled it out. This is the second set of sheets she's gotten blood on from her nocturnal tooth pulling. I was just heading to bed that night when I remembered, "I need to get a dollar out of my purse." Unfortunately I didn't have one, so I ended up having to take a dollar from Madison. So, here I am, tooth fairy mom, sneaking into Madison's room to find her wallet, she had a few crisp dollar bills so I tried very quietly to get one out. Then I had to find the tooth, in the zip lock bag, under her pillow, but she has two pillows and it wasn't under the pillow she told me it would be under. Luckily I found it under the other pillow without too much trouble. It's always during those few moments of searching under the pillow that I have the urge to burst out laughing. I put the dollar in its place and snuck out of her room. Phew! The next morning I got up and peaked in her room to see if she was awake, she was, so I opened the door and she started punching her bed. I said, "What is wrong with you?" and she told me there was no dollar. So, I searched and found it had fallen between the wall and bed. You know, it's kinda fun having to be these mythical figures (Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, etc.), but it's kinda not. btw, I'll secretly pay her back when I get a dollar.
