Happy Birthday Bailee!

Our sweet Bailee turned 7 on July 26th.  She and Ashton dove into opening the presents before noon.  I decided I might as well let Bailee open her presents early in the day rather than later.  Jeff was working, so I was able to call all the shots. ;-)  We missed him being there to celebrate with us.

Bailee got a new, pretty in pink scooter.  It's perfect for her.

Bailee is in the 2nd grade this year at Naples Elementary.  Her teacher is Mrs. Pederson.  Bailee likes her teacher, so far, and hopefully she will all year.  Bailee has very soft skin and very soft and smooth hair.  She's received compliments on how soft her hair is.  I love to kiss her soft cheeks!  Bailee likes playing video games on the Wii, tablet and our computer.  She likes coloring, playing Barbies and baby dolls, and lately she and Madison have really been enjoying building things with Lego's.  She also likes to look at floor plans of homes.  Sometimes she and Jeff will do look at them together.  She gets excited when she's looking online and finds floor plans that have large closets and rooms.  She often calls us over to excitedly show us.  She has a super sweet giggle.  I love that she still likes to cuddle and has since she was little.  I love my spirited little girl, she is so amazing!

It's cute and amusing watching her try to blow out her candles, she has the hardest time.  Usually one of her siblings can't help themselves, and comes to the rescue, to Bailee's dismay.

Madison eventually blew them out in one puff and got yelled at by Bailee for it. :-)

Madison's Minions

Madison had a friend birthday party this year.  She loves minions, so I made her a minion cake.

The girls just hanging out in Madison's room.  Of course they have their electronics out.  Can't live without them!! ;-)

Bailee had her friend Sophia over too.  Since Madison's birthday was a week after Easter, I did an Easter Egg hunt for them.  They all loved it!  We also ate dinner at KFC, Madison's choice.

Madison Is 12!

Yep, Madison turned 12 back on April 24, 2014.
Here she is holding a bottle of parfume she got for her birthday.  She got to open one gift before school, and I thought this would be a good one.  It's from the music group, One Direction.  It smells quite good!  She really liked it.

Pretty girl opening her gifts.  This turned out to be a rough day for Madison.  She and her friend had a little drama between themselves that day.  She also had one of her earrings from her freshly pierced ear yanked out.  She was playing in our tent when it happened.  The earring got stuck in the netting and got pulled out.  We tried to put the earring back in, but for the life of us we could not get it back in, without causing Madison a lot of pain.  We eventually got it re pierced.  

Looks like we started eating the cake before we lit the candles!  Whatever, right??....

Bailee's Birthday

Bailee's birthday was on July 26th.  She turned 6 years old!  We had a birthday party for her a couple of weeks after her birthday, with her friends.  (We were in Orem during her actual birthday and I came down with pneumonia, so we had a to wait a bit.)  None the less, we had a great old time.

Since we stayed an extra 6 days in Orem while I was recovering from pneumonia, we were there for Bailee's actual birthday on July 26th, so we went swimming again and this time I was able to go.  Unfortunately Jeff wasn't able to go with us, he had to go back to work. We also went to Iggy's again, our favorite restaurant.

I didn't get to go swimming with them for Bailee's b'day, because I came down with pneumonia during our visit to Orem.  Yeah, I wasn't expecting that.  We still had a nice time though.  Thanks to all of my family for helping me out.
