Our Vegas Vacation

We started out our Vegas vacation staying a few nights in Utah County.  My Uncle Tom and Aunt Diane were visiting from Iowa so we wanted to spend some time with them.  Plus, it made for a shorter drive to Vegas by leaving from Orem rather than Vernal.

Thanks to Miss Bailee, we had a little adventure in this pool at the Comfort Inn.  Jeff had to go back up to our hotel room to grab another floaty, thankfully taking Ashton with him.  While he was gone, Madison and Bailee were already playing in the pool.  Bailee got a bit too far from the steps into water that was too deep for her.  She started to panic so I jumped up and had to get in the water to help her....with my clothes on.  She recovered very quickly with no tears.  Thank goodness all was well.

My dad spending some time with Ashton.  Cute guys!

We had a joint b'day celebration for my mom and Bailee.  Bailee got a Nintendo DS or BS as she pronounces it.

Got the van packed, kids buckled and we're ready to head off on our drive to Vegas.  Madison and Bailee were very excited!

Madison doing her signature head tilt.

Ashton chewing on his toy with Jeff next to him strapping down our luggage.

The girls having a snack after an evening swim.  We stayed at South Point Hotel, we all really liked it.  We had a large room, it was great.  We also enjoyed driving up and down the strip looking at all of the crazy and interesting sights.

Jeff was flying Ashton around like a helicopter.  Ashton flew by, swiping the Teddy Grahams.  We had a lot of fun joking, playing and relaxing in our room.

Here's Ashton playing peek-a-boo with Jeff while Jeff was getting him dressed.  We met a lot of nice people during our stay, much due to Ashton.  He's such a happy boy and smiles so much at others that he attracts attention.

Our hotel had a bowling alley in it.  We took the kids bowling for their first time.  Jeff and I hadn't bowled in years, it was fun.  I was a bit surprised how sore I was the next day.

Madison and Bailee playing in the curtains in our hotel room.  I took this photo right before we left to come home.

We've been to South Point. It's about 10-15 minutes from our house. We went for the Steak n Shake that opened up. We found that place while living in Charlotte. Mmmm!
